Deiroy Lindo plays the first black man to conquer the Arctic, with Henry Czerny as Robert E. Peary. Bruce Gilbert's (Coming Home, The China Syndrome, On Golden Pond) American Filmworks produced the film, and Kevin Hooks (Passenger 57, Fled, Black Dog) directed from a script by Jeffrey Lewis and Susan Rhinehart
